Glass Blocks
Available Designs
Glass blocks, also known as glass bricks, are a type of architectural element made from glass. They provide visual obscuration while still admitting light. Glass blocks can be clear or colored, and they can be textured or smooth depending on the desired effect.
They are often used in both commercial and residential buildings for a range of applications. For example, they are frequently used in bathrooms for privacy, in exterior walls to provide natural light while maintaining security, and in interior partitions to create a light, airy feel.
These blocks are typically made by joining two hollow halves under heat and pressure to fuse them into a single, hollow block. The hollow center provides a degree of insulation, blocking heat transfer more effectively than a solid piece of glass.
